2 Traffickers Impounded With 12 Sacks of Bhang
On Wednesday, a police-led raid operation in the Kombani area of Kwale County led to the arrest of two suspected drug traffickers and the seizure of 12 sacks of bhang.
Kassim Omar Konerwa, aged 34, and Issa Omar Konerwa, aged 24, were arrested in a residence located in the mentioned area while carrying the prohibited substance. Authorities suspect that this substance was being kept at the property until it could be delivered.
In a statement on X, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) announced, “They have been placed in custody pending arraignment.”
Two people were arrested as part of ongoing operations by anti-drug detectives throughout the region, targeting the drug use and trafficking problem that once afflicted the area.
