‘Gen Z Walianguka na Mimi, Sina Kazi Saa Hii Napanda Cabbage’, Ex CS Nakhumicha

Former CS for Health After President William Ruto reorganized his Cabinet in June of last year and fired several officials, including Susan Nakhumicha, she gave a thorough account of her life.
Outrage at the approval of the now-contested Finance Bill, 2024, triggered anti-government rallies led by Generation Z, which coincided with Ruto’s hasty response.
In an effort to build a unity government, the president dismissed everyone save Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and then reassembled the Cabinet with some new members, including some from the opposition ODM party.
With nationwide rallies calling for extensive reforms, including the removal of cabinet secretaries, Gen Z had swept the nation.
Nakhumicha claimed that while watching TV, she learned about her termination.
According to Ruto, the new Cabinet’s structure was perfect for fostering unity among Kenyans.
Nakhumicha stated that she now focuses on farming while speaking in Kitale at the memorial service for former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) head Wafula Chebukati.
She stated that growing and marketing cabbages in Cheranganyi is her main priority.
