‘Nikishindwa Naenda Nyumbani Kulima!’ – Ruto Says While Calling For Unity In Kiambu
President William Ruto has urged Kiambu leaders to unify and collaborate for the greater cause of serving Kenyans.
Ruto, speaking on Saturday while touring Githunguri, urged politicians to cease agitating Kenyans and causing splits and conflict.
Ruto stated that Kenyans had given each leader their own role and mandate, which they must fulfill.
He stated that in 2027, Kenyans will decide who to vote for again based on each individual’s performance record.
Ruto stated that if voted out, those who have not fulfilled the vows made to Kenyans during the previous campaign should accept to return home safely.

“I would like to request leaders in Kiambu, let’s stop fighting and inciting people, Kenyans are not foolish, they know who is working and who is not,” Ruto said.
“The people gave us work, the MCA has their work same as the MP, the governor and me, everyone should do their work.”
“Kila mtu afanye kazi yake jameni, si mtihani mtatufanyisha 2027, mtu akipita mtihani si anaendelela, mtu akianguka mtihani si anaenda kulima nyumbani, iko haja ya kupiganisha watu? Iko haja ya kuleta fujo? Si nyinyi ndio mtasahihisha mtihani yetu?” Ruto posed.
The President stated that Kenyans had appointed him to ensure that children attend school, roads are built, and all homes have access to power, which he is still doing.
He stated that he will take the exam like any other leader in 2027, and if he fails, he will return home to farm.

“Si mliniambia nisomeshe watoto wetu, si nimeajiri walimu elfu sabini na sita? Si mlinipea kilimo nipunguze gharama ya mbolea na mbegu? Si mlisema tuunganishe stima, tujenge barabara?” Ruto posed.
“Si mtaniuliza maswali 2027? Si nitajibu maswali, nikipita mtihani si mimi naendelea, nikianguka mtihami si mimi naenda kulima, iko shida yeyote? What is the problem, hakuna shida.”
He insisted that Kenyans desire a unified leadership that will work toward a single goal.
Ruto went on to say that as president, he will not give up on his goal of bringing all Kenyans together, regardless of their area.
