CS Oparanya’s Girlfriend Faces Chaos As Organized Goons Storm Her Event
A model recruiting event hosted by Mary Biketi’s Foundation devolved into pandemonium when a gang of goons invaded the premises, interrupting procedures and scattering attendees.
Biketi, the girlfriend of current Cooperative Cabinet Secretary Wycliffe Oparanya, was conducting an event at the Kitale Museum on Friday afternoon, looking for models to promote her organization.
However, commotion ensued when an unsuspecting vehicle arrived on the scene. Moments afterward, young people armed with knives and machetes disrupted the gathering.
“The first time I was here, I did something for the elderly, and this time around, I thought I would do something for the youth, and then this happened,” Biketi revealed.
“We were going on with our program when the goons came in…they started beating us, robbing us, and even broke vehicles.”

During the heated clashes, Biketi’s car’s back screen was damaged, and two female models were robbed of their phones and suffered minor injuries.
Biketi condemned the event, emphasizing that she was unaffiliated with any political party and was only looking to aid the neighborhood.
“We are not in any political party; we just want to help each other. We are empowering women, youths, and the vulnerable,” Biketi said.
The event organizers who accompanied Biketi also criticized the incident, advising the youth to avoid being exploited by divisive politicians.
Peninah Makambi, the foundation’s Coordinator, reiterated Biketi’s thoughts, describing the attack as “barbaric” and emphasizing the need for responsibility.
“We demand an immediate and thorough investigation, and all those involved must be brought to justice,” Makambi asserted.

Biketi is not new to the Kenyan scene; she rose to prominence after her relationship with former Kakamega Governor Oparanya was revealed.
In an earlier interview, Oparanya confirmed their relationship and stated that his two wives were aware of it and had no objections to it.
“I have a girlfriend, and my wives know her; they have no problem with it. We live peacefully and harmoniously,” Oparanya told the Art of Living show in July 2024.
Biketi left the scene unharmed, as she was swiftly whisked away by security.
