
Man’s Body Found In His House As Police Begin Investigation
Police in Siaya are investigating a murder after a 40-year-old man’s lifeless body was discovered inside his home in Mahinga Village, Nyandiwa Sub-location, on Friday evening.
A concerned buddy discovered the deceased after not seeing him since Thursday.
Police added that when the friend arrived at the house, he discovered the door was locked from the inside and smelled awful.
The police were called to the scene and smashed down the door to discover the victim lying on the floor.
Police sent the deceased to the Siaya County Referral Hospital mortuary for an autopsy and further investigation.
Meanwhile, One person died on the spot, and two others were seriously injured when the Kamenwo quarry in Bomet County collapsed as the victims were gathering sand between the rocks.

According to Bomet County disaster management officer Stanley Mutai, a 15-year-old girl died, while a 7-year-old son and a 34-year-old woman were injured.
The injured were sent to Longisa Referral Hospital, while the deceased’s body was transferred to the same hospital’s mortuary.
Mutai stated that the two youngsters were strangers in the community and were touring the site with the mother, who is a miner at the quarry.
